More than 350 people with bleeding disorders from across the country will be able to continue to receive access to free medicine. This is made possible because of the successful staging of Hemophilia Advocates-Philippines’ first ever concert for a cause last December 14, 2019.

Equal treatment for all is the core and vision of HAP. To continue helping our members, Music for Life: A Christmas Benefit Concert for the Hemophilia Community was held to raise people’s awareness about hemophilia and related bleeding disorders and to raise funds to continue our patient-development programs as well as our office operations.

Through the leadership of our president Ms. Andrea Trinidad, the direction of our vice president and concert chairman Ms. Kay San Vicente and the support of our board members, the benefit show held at the prominent Music Museum in Greenhills became a success.

Organizations, businesses, media platforms and individuals who became Friends of HAP also became a huge part of this event for the hemophilia community by supporting our cause in ever way possible. Our deepest gratitude goes to The OPM Hitmen for staging a world-class performance and The Music Museum and TicketWorld for the venue and tickets.

Among the organizations who made this event possible are our generous supporters: PAGCOR, Ceelin Plus, Mr. Antonio I. Chua, Jr. of Royce Group of Companies, iGan ng Pilipinas Foundation and Security Bank.

Big thanks also go to our amazing friends from the media namely Business Mirror, Business Mirror Health & Fitness, Graphic Philippines, Pilipino Mirror, Inquirer.net, Inq. POP!, Cebu Daily News, Metro Sabado and WhenInManila.com (event’s official blog partner) for being a platform in spreading our cause to the public.

And of course, all of HAP’s chapters, leaders and members from across the country also deserve commendation for supporting and promoting our event in their communities, offices and friends, thus making our fundraising drive successful.

Because of everyone’s hard work, contribution and participation, we achieved our goal of raising awareness about the hemophilia community and we successfully raised funds to continue the good works we have been doing.

This milestone in our organization truly empowered us to continue our efforts in helping you, our members, have access to treatment. We are fueled to make opportunities to learn and open more possibilities to grow for all the patients and their families, and we are inspired to continue guiding our youth to become persons with hemophilia that can do more and achieve more.
